Holiday 04:04
I used to have a lot to say Sarcasm flew but not my way I'll get hurt but you'll hurt first Now the skirt brings out the worst Who are they anyway to try and spoil my holiday Who are they anyway There's a softness to your skin That hides the anger just within And it's your darkness that I love The thing that I'm enamoured of Who are they anyway to try and spoil my holiday Who are they anyway Despair will come and it will go Like the ocean's ebb and flow And I thought I heard you say Go and have your holiday Who are they anyway to try and spoil my holiday Who are they anyway

Have you ever felt suffocated By smiles and conversation As a matter of fact there's a knife in your back And they've known about it all along Does the guilt over what you might do Overshadow what you've really done There's a whole industry building new remedies For what was never a disease at all There's a brand new world outside of this town So shut your mouth and take a look around You might not change at all, be as narrow as before But you'll give yourself some floor on which to fall When you draw your sense together And you read what's on the door Do you abandon all hope, tie a knot in the rope And write your epitaph on the wall Can you fix what never was broken To distract all prying eyes What I think you should say as you push them away Is that you've pleased them for the very last time There's a brand new world outside of this town You are not locked into anything And simple honesty goes as far as you might think And it leaves a better taste after the fall True anarchy's been replaced by a tease And the nothings who all sing along There's a brand new world outside of this town Open your ears for a while Then smash your radio because it's lying to us all And building us a floor on which to fall There's a brand new world outside of this town Open your ears for a while Then smash your radio because it's lying to us all And building us a floor on which to fall Yeah, it's building us a floor on which to fall

You don't know You don't know, you haven't seen I'm a secondary master living in between I'm cleaning up the mess in here, sharpening a knife Cutting any traces to my secondary life You won't see me standing on the other side You won't hear me telling you another lie You won't see me standing on the other side The other side Honesty has never been a friend of mine It lacks imagination and the element of crime You were always everything, everything to me Truth can be elusive, that's one thing you can believe Believe You won't see me standing on the other side You won't hear me telling you another lie You won't see me standing on the other side The other side You'll understand part of this But the rest you'll never guess And you don't know, you don't know you haven't seen I'm a secondary master just living in between Excuses now are meaningless You know that I will not give in You will never again suffer from my secondary sin You won't see me standing on the other side You won't hear me telling you another lie You won't see me standing on the other side The other side

Do you know that you're living in a box Your so-called life is painted on every wall When you look around it seems to encompass all But from where I stand a box is just a box And things that seem important will not last When you reach your hand around to find the clasp You won't even know you're free til you begin to fall Do you see that you're filling in a hole You're filling it with things you never tried And people that you loved and left behind But from where I stand a hole is still a hole And climbing is impossible for me Another dream I choose not to believe I won't even know I'm dead til I begin to fall I begin to fall Do you know that you're living in a box Your so-called life is painted on every wall When you look around it seems to encompass all But from where I am a box is just a box And things that seem important will not last When you reach your hand around to find the clasp You won't even know you're free til you begin to fall You begin to fall
5.
Sometimes you listen, sometimes you turn away from me I have started to believe When we are together we always hurt each other It takes the strength right out of me And I've got my own philosophy A couple of drinks and I will be animated We will give this game a try Whatever you think, lay it out before me and I'll Try to look you in the eye And I've got my own way to relate to people I have no need to compensate I've got my own half-assed opinions and I I've got my own philosophy However it plays, I'll never be sentimental I'd have to say it's just not me At the end of the day I'll light the world up for you Though I fear there's nothing there to see And I've got my own way to relate to people I have no need to deviate I've got my own homemade religion and I I've got my own philosophy I'm so high I'm falling right out of the sky To the untrained eye I suppose I might appear to fly Don't be afraid, they're only ruminations Only thoughts I can't deny A couple of drinks could turn the situation Into something we can't hide And I've got my own way to relate to people I have no need to compensate Ive got my own half-assed opinions and I I've got my own philosophy Yeah I've got my own way to relate to people I have no need to deviate I've got my own home made religion and I I've got my own philosophy

Do You Feel 05:00
I don't know whats wrong with me, I'm wasting all your time I can't make up my mind And I know it's not fair to keep you hanging on the line Waiting for a sign In every other way I'm very cool and organized With pockets full of confidence and arrogance and Even though I hide it well I'm still surprised By skin on skin reflecting in another's eyes Do you feel the way I feel Do you feel the way I feel Every time I break a mirror angels start to cry Wetting all the world with tears from the sky If seven years can disappear then so can I In the blinking of an angel's eye Too much brown all around her whole town I cant believe the things she'd say The only thing that makes it worse is that I smiled When I should have walked away Do you feel the way I feel Do you feel the way I feel Comatose, undiagnosed, and left alone to die With every answered question locked inside I don't know what's wrong with me, I'm wasting all your time And I can't make up my mind Do you feel the way I feel Do you feel the way I feel
7.
Scares Me 04:34
I'm so ordinary, you're so beautiful, it scares me There's no lesson here to learn There's nowhere for me to turn I would never sell you, ask anyone they'll tell you I have never felt this way before Don't know what I can give someone who can stand up on her own It scares me Now I know that you exist I cannot go back It scares me You seem to have everything and I I have only the will to try So I'll try I will take this feeling and build it into meaning All too often these things are not real You are made of something that I don't understand It scares me The colour of your face, the thought of your eyes Looking back at me and The scent of your hair, the thought of your lips Meeting mine and The feel of your flesh, the thought of our minds Intertwined and The thought of your love, the thought of your love But I'm so ordinary and you're so beautiful, it scares me And all I have to offer you Is a dream that only you can make true Only you It's impossible I know It's impossible I know So I'll leave you to yourself I will leave you to yourself I will leave you though it scares me
8.
Whiner 03:22
You ain't seen nothing til you've seen yourself cry You whine and moan about your life Then try to put the blame on me You ain't seen nothing til you've seen yourself cry The grass is greener on the other side I think you're in for a surprise 'Cos sunshine tends to follow me Without my light I dont think you can see Don't lie to me Don't cry to me You talked yourself out of a job last night Pack up and catch the morning flight I'll hold the door open for you And don't look back just walk straight through Don't lie to me Every word out of that mouth is a lie Don't cry to me Im sick of it The time has come to make it on your own Just like Dylan's Rolling Stone Then the blame can stay with you You ain't seen nothing til you've seen this through You ain't seen nothing til you've seen this through
9.
It's not in the way they lied to me It's more in the way I believed It's not all the times I came back toyou It's more that I gave you reprieve Solutions are found all around this old town Comes a time they will tune in to me I am primed to receive all the reasons to believe That are floating around like the leaves off the trees I'm not tired anymore My hands are not sore And I'm gonna move this hole in the floor To a place I adore even more I know a girl who explains the whole world By the way the stars move in the sky She seems so sincere, every point is crystal clear But she still can't explain why the hell I'm still here I'm not tired anymore My hands are not sore And I'm gonna move this hole in the floor To a place I adore even more Solutions are found all around this old town Comes a time they will tune in to me I am primed to receive all the reasons to believe That are floating around like the leaves off the trees I'm not tired anymore My hands are not sore And I'm gonna move this hole in the floor To a place I adore even more

The options on the table don't include capitulation So I'll bring that conversation to an end Shake it well and serve it Even though you don't deserve it You'll be crying on your doorstep once again And my heart, my counterpart Will bring again Something from nothing in the end I sent the message to you, let my words all filter through you And I waited for your sad lukewarm reply This kind of relation's even worse than masturbation But I still can't cut you loose, I dont know why And my heart, my counterpart Will bring again Something from nothing in the end Poring over nothing, could I twist it into something Could I put it on a shelf and watch it die These negotiations will not end in subjugation Not for me and not for you, don't even try And my heart, my counterpart Will bring again Something from nothing in the end
